Our client is a large progressive Australasian organisation and a market leader in New Zealand with an extensive branch network across the country.
Reporting to the Branch Manager the appointee will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of up to 20 staff covering landfill, transfer station, composting and recycling facilities.
Key attributes sought in the appointee include:
Team leadership experience in an operational management role with experience in a contracting/transport/logistical environment desired
Well developed relationship management and team leadership skills
Customer and results focused with commercial awareness
Proactive with initiative and a practical approach
An understanding of civil engineering
A working knowledge of machinery, plant, transport requirements and maintenance programmes an advantage
