Marriotts is an established, growing and successful Christchurch based chartered accountancy practice which is part of the Nexia International network of independent accounting and consulting firms. They are looking to appoint a CEO to provide leadership and take hands on responsibility for the operational activities of the business which has 38 staff and six directors who are committed to using their knowledge and expertise to create value for the benefit of their clients.

Reporting to the Managing Partner the appointee will have responsibilities in a broad range of areas including the leadership and support of staff and partners, the development and management of systems, processes and procedures, strategy and planning,  business development and growth, HR, IT and Training.      

Key attributes sought in the appointee include:

• Prior successful leadership experience preferably in the management and delivery of professional services
• Well developed leadership and management skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
• Proactive with strong problem solving abilities
• Strong computer and Excel skills
• A tertiary qualification is desired but not essential.
