Process Monitoring and Optimising Role
Living Earth operates a state of the art processing facility which processes Christchurch household green bin waste, producing approximately 40,000 tonnes of organic weed free compost per year. This is utilised primarily by Canterbury’s strong rural sector.
Reporting to the manager the appointee will be responsible for monitoring and optimising the key parameters of the process, product quality control testing, environmental monitoring and resource consent compliance.
Key attributes required in the appointee include:
- Prior experience in a process monitoring/optimisation or environmental testing role and an understanding of quality control processes.
- Well developed verbal, numeric and problem solving abilities
- Computer literate and able to accurately collect and analyse data
- Appropriate experience or qualification in science
- A team player who can relate to staff at all levels
- Self starter who is organised and can work independently.
